Welcome to Premier Security

With its establishment in March 1984, Premier Security Co-Operative Ltd heralded a revival to the security industry in Singapore.

The joint effort of Singapore Police Co-operative Society Ltd and Singapore Government Staff Credit Co-op Society Ltd to inaugurate Premier Security Co-Operative Ltd more than 30 years ago has resulted in a pioneer establishment, that is both reliable and consistent with the quality of its service.

Management Team

Max Tan
Managing Director

Max brings over 20 years of experience in the security industry, with a diverse background spanning both public and private sectors. He began his security career with Cisco Security as a Senior Auxiliary Police Officer, overseeing client relations and manpower deployment across various high-profile locations, including banks, embassies, government institutions, corporate offices, key installations, protected areas, and within the aviation sector.

Before transitioning to the unarmed security industry, Max held the position of Senior Assistant Director (Security) at the Supreme Court of Singapore, where he was primarily responsible for contract and vendor management, security audits, security systems and incident management. This role provided him with invaluable insights into security management from the client’s perspective, allowing him to develop a comprehensive understanding of industry requirements and operational dynamics as both a service provider and user.

In addition to his professional security experience, Max served his National Service (NS) in the elite First Commando Battalion, where he holds the rank of Captain (NS).

Max also holds a degree in Marketing and Management from Curtin University of Technology, further complementing his leadership and strategic skills within the security sector.

Teoh Boon Kok
Director/Finance Director

Boon Kok is the Finance Director at Premier Security Co-operative Limited, where he oversees the Finance Department with a focus on enhancing the organization's financial performance. His extensive responsibilities encompass accounting, financial reporting, budget development, and investment management. Additionally, he provides strategic financial guidance that supports informed decision-making across the company. Boon Kok plays a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the organization, frequently collaborating with various departments to ensure that financial objectives align seamlessly with the overall business strategy.

Since joining Premier Security Co-operative Limited in 2020, Boon Kok has brought a wealth of experience from his previous roles at prestigious firms, including Chio Lim, Ernst & Young, Toppan Forms, and Omega Integration Pte Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Business Finance from the University of Adelaide, Australia, equipping him with a strong foundation in financial principles and practices that he applies to drive organizational success.

Vicneswaren
Director/Operations

With 12 years of extensive experience in Singapore's security industry, Vicnes brings valuable expertise to his current role. Vicnes began his security career with AETOS Auxiliary Police Force following his Police National Service, where he acquired invaluable frontline knowledge. He subsequently honed his security management skills at Marina Bay Sands, prior transitioning into the private security sector.

Through dedication and hard work, Vicnes progressed from an Operations Executive to his current leadership role, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving operational excellence. Strategically focused and operationally driven, Vicnes works diligently to optimize security operations and lead the agency’s growth, ensuring Premier Security consistently upholds the highest standards in security services.

Vicnes holds a Diploma in Security Management, further enhancing his skills and industry knowledge, and commitment to professional development.

Mandy Tay
Director/Human Resource

Mandy Tay is an accomplished Human Resources leader with extensive experience across various sectors, including retail, hospitality, property, entertainment, manufacturing, security and travel. As the former Group Human Resources Manager (Global Head) at Osim, she oversaw HR Managers across Singapore, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, driving strategic initiatives to optimize talent management and enhance organizational performance.

Prior to her role at Osim International, Mandy served as the Director of Human Resources at Millennium Hotel, where she implemented effective HR strategies that fostered employee engagement and operational excellence.

As Head of Group HR at No Signboard, Mandy played a key role in the company's expansion into China, establishing HR frameworks to support this growth. At AGVA, Mandy managed HR operations for a workforce of 2,000 employees, where she led the critical process of the company’s delisting from the Singapore Exchange (SGX). Her strategic oversight during this transition highlighted her capability to navigate complex corporate changes while ensuring employee satisfaction and organizational stability.

Mandy’s comprehensive experience in managing HR operations across various regions position her as a dynamic leader committed to driving talent development and fostering high-performing workplaces. Her multifaceted skill set and strategic vision continue to contribute to organizational success in her current role and beyond.
